Orihuela Costa is known in the province of Alicante for its long and beautiful beaches of about 20 kilometers.
The Orihuela coast occupies a large area of green space, among which are beautiful pine forests. For avid golfers, the Orihuela Costa has some of the best golf courses with a total of 54 holes, world-renowned and where major tournaments are held. The five golf courses are: Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas Golf Club, Club de Golf Villamartin, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club and Golf Club Vistabella.
Orihuela Costa – Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig enjoys a wonderful climate and is considered the most temperate region in all of Spain. A place worth seeing in Cabo Roig is the historic tower, it dates back to the 16th century and was built to warn of attacks by pirates who attacked the coast in those days.
The tower now adjoins the restaurant, it’s a great place for a drink, the view stretches down the harbor and across the sea to La Manga. It is also the starting point for the wonderful La Zenia cliff walks.
Stunning cliffs and views beckon you to walk from La Zenia to Cabo Roig. This great walk offers some fantastic coastal views and on a clear day you can see the bay of Mar Menor along with La Manga in the distance.
The main attraction of Cabo Roig are the magnificent sandy beaches awarded Blue Flag status, The two main beaches on Cabo Roig (Cala Capitan and Cala Caleta) are clean and safe for children. Within walking distance are the beaches at La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Campoamor.
Orihuela Costa – La Zenia

Villamartín is the name of an urbanization and golf course in Orihuela Costa, part of the province of Alicante and the Community of Valencia on the Costa Blanca. In the urbanization there are banks, supermarkets cafes restaurants,is around the buildings are areas covered with palm trees on which live many families of ring-necked parrots from Africa.Villamartín has two first-class golf courses. Campo de Golf Villamartín, and Campo de Golf Las Ramblas. There are also many beaches, the closest of which is La Zenia beach.
Villamartín has experienced steady and seemingly endless growth over the past 50 years, as what was once a small community has grown into an exciting, high-quality tourist enclave that has expanded into a wide range of activities for the family, from golf to water sports to go-karting .
