I invite you to visit Park El Palmeral in Alicante, also known as the Palm Grove.
This is an absolutely unique place! as soon as I entered its gates, I felt that I was entering a land of tranquility, completely separated from the hustle and bustle of the city, despite the fact that it is located near the busy street Avinguda d’Elx.
What caught my attention right away was the multitude of palm trees that give the place its unique character. Walking along gravel paths, one passes beautiful flower beds and rare varieties of palms and the sight of a small waterfall provides a feeling of refreshment. This place is a veritable paradise for all lovers of nature and tranquility.
One can see that it is extremely carefully maintained. Cleanliness and order harmonize with the beauty of the surrounding vegetation. However, what really delighted me was the opportunity to rent a rowboat and cruise the tranquil pond. This experience gives a whole new perspective on park observation.
A place for lunch
Families who are looking for a nice place for lunch are sure to find it , there are specially designated areas in the park for picnicking and relaxing. Prepared tables and benches create ideal conditions for enjoying a meal together in a natural setting.
We visited this park in Alicante with the whole family, including my beloved Aunt Dorota, who was in a wheelchair. It was her first visit, and she was downright charmed. The Spanish take care of people with disabilities, moving in a wheelchair on the paths was not difficult.
The beautiful views, the sounds of nature, the sound of water and the harmonious atmosphere of this park can delight anyone, This wonderful shared experience left lasting memories for the whole family, especially for Aunt Dorothy, who had the opportunity to enjoy this place for the first time.
As I strolled along the charming paths, I realized that the experience was very relaxing, especially in summer, when the vegetation offers respite from the heat. A park in Alicante-Park El Palmeral-is a true gem, where you can immerse yourself in nature and get away from the rush of everyday life. The park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in summer and until 10:00 p.m. in winter.
